The British International School of Kurdistan is the first school in Kurdistan to offer the Pearson Edexcel British Curriculum. On Tuesday, May 17th, our students had their first Pearson exam. The British Council performed the monitoring of the exam. A committee from the ministry of education visited our school to verify this international exam procedure. Mr. Brzo, Head of the Certification Department, Mr. Herdi, Head of the Examination department, Mr. Rashad, and Mr. Ibrahim. They gave guidance that we are very grateful for to ensure professional and international procedures for all the exams.

AIAASC Accreditation

AIAASC has been providing accreditation  for schools outside the United States that offer international programs or an American style curriculum. AIAASC equips the schools with various types of innovative and high-quality educational support that enhances schools and paves the way for them to reach high standards of education.

NCPSA Accreditation

The National Council for Private School Accreditation (NCPSA) is a private organization dedicated to accrediting American private schools on a national level. It was created in 1993 to form at-large standards after the U.S. Department of Education in 1985 deemed the Department did not have legal authority to recognize any elementary and secondary accrediting agency.[1] It currently fully accredits 17 accrediting agencies including the Florida Association of Christian Colleges and Schools 

In September 1993, these organizations agreed to formalize the process at the National Council for Private School Accreditation (NCPSA)
