British International Schools in Kurdistan
Vision, Mission and Core Beliefs
BISK believes that knowledge, skills, and values are the foundation for becoming an active citizen and member of the school, the community, and the diverse society in which we live. We provide our students with opportunities to succeed, and the motivation to act on them. We cultivate a lifelong passion for learning, and the skills to put it to use. We instill the values of community, diversity and inclusion today, so that students will become model leaders of Kurdistan tomorrow. By nurturing a safe, welcoming, multilingual, multicultural and professional community of learning, students earn a world-class education that prepares them to make a positive impact in the world.
The BISK mission is to convert learners of today into leaders of Kurdistan and the global community by providing an international education in a safe, secure and supportive environment that will significantly increase student achievement through the application of continuous improvement strategies. We are devoted to preparing all of our students to become caring, contributing, compassionate, productive, successful leaders of tomorrow.
